About the Day
International Repair Day takes place on the third Saturday of October each year. Initiated by the Open Repair Alliance in 2017, this global movement celebrates repair as a sustainable alternative to our throwaway culture. Join repair cafes, fixers, and communities worldwide in keeping our items working longer and reducing waste.
